GIRI-DOOT, an NGO , recognised by Govt. of India since 1975, has been active in the sphere of adventurous activities and social works for over decades. It is one of the premier organisations of its genre in the country. The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India contributed, in no small measure, to the growth and development of GIRI-DOOT as an Institution. GIRI-DOOT has all along kept its faith in the value, attitudes that are essentially Indian in spirit. Upholding the Indian tradition, conserving the Indian heritage is one motto of GIRI-DOOT. Chandernagore, still retains its French aroma, is GIRI-DOOT’s base. GIRI-DOOT has built a cultural bridge between India and other countries of the world.
